HeartKids is the compass to help navigate the lifetime journey of the 64,000 Australian children, teens and adults affected by congenital heart disease. Their aim is to help them -and their families - to lead the most fulfilling life possible and to reach their personal goals.
Sunday 9th of February was jump day for 12 wonderful people who took on the challenge of skydiving, all in the name of fundraising.
Fundraising towards targets, they unlocked skydives at different heights, with a number of participants raising thousands of dollars each towards Heartkids
Arriving in one united group; jumpers and support crew alike, pariticpants were welcomed to our Lake Alexandrina dropzone with its fantastic hosting facilities.
The group went through a safety briefing before splitting into jump groups. They fired up the BBQ to keep everyone well fed and enojoyed the beautiful jumping weather.
